How will you print my collage?

We offer four options: you can choose to have it printed on canvas, poster, aluminium (alu-dibond) or acrylic.

When will I receive my collage?

Your collage will be processed as soon as your payment has been received. How long it will take to deliver depends on which printing option you've selected: canvas, poster, aluminium or acrylic. Click here to read more about our shipping and delivery times.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on your chosen printing option (canvas, poster, aluminium or acrylic), size and design. You can create your own collage for as little as £15.95. You can find the specific prices for each design in the collage creator and on our Prices page.

What sizes are available

You can choose any of various size options, depending on the design you choose. The largest size we offer at the moment is 140 x 80 cm (4'7.12″ x 2'7.50″).

Creating a collage

Do I need to download a computer programme in order to create a collage?

No, you don't. Everything is done online. There's no need to install anything on your computer. This also means you can login over the internet and work on your collage from any computer anywhere.

What requirements does a photo need to meet?

The minimal resolution (size) of any photo depends on the collage. The collage creator will let you know if the photo you're uploading is too small to show up properly on the print. Photos can only be uploaded as a JPG file. If you want to use pictures of a different file type (such as PDF, PNG or a word document) you can contact us.

If I put too many pictures in my collage will they become uselessly small when the collage is printed?

In those designs where you can manually set the size and layout of the frames, the photos will never be printed any narrower or shorter than 5 cm (1.97″) so you won't end up with pictures the size of a stamp. Note however that if you choose to have your collage printed on canvas, the photos will show up slightly grainier due to the texture of the fabric. Small photos with a lot of detail, like group shots, are not recommended when printing on canvas.

If I have my collage printed on canvas, will my photos be folded around the sides of the frame?

No, everything you see will be on the front of the canvas. Don't worry about photos wrapping around the sides. The canvas wrapping around the sides will be an even white or the background colour of your choice.

I want text in my photo collage. Is that possible?

Yes, you can place text in your collage. In the collage maker you can choose 'Edit' from the options that will appear when you click on a photo. Here you will find the option to place a text on the photo. You can adjust your text as desired in size, font and placement on the photo.

I have many photos that show a lot of detail (like group shots or landscapes). What do you recommend?

Printing as a poster and printing on canvas are both suitable for this. However, if you choose canvas, make sure not to make your photos too small. The texture of the canvas will make your photos appear less defined which can lead to loss of detail in smaller sizes. In such cases we recommend printing your collage as a poster, or perhaps you could zoom in on the most important part of the photo instead.

I'd like to save my collage and finish it later. Is that possible?

Sure! You can save your collage any time. You only need to create an account and then you can save your creation and finish it whenever you like.

Do you have any general advice for making a collage?

You'll get the best results if you use clear, bright photos. Remember that your computer screen acts like a light box, making your photos look much lighter and clearer than they'll look when printed. The actual end result is going to look darker than what you see on your screen. You should pay particular attention to badly lit faces; darker colours can make the details hard to make out in your print. It's also important to use sufficiently large photos, i.e. photos with a high resolution. If a photo you upload is too small, the collage creator will let you know.
